Will things change now that Internet providers can collect and sell your Web browser history?
Hopefully not, as most ISP’s are careful not to lose their customers by sharing private data. But more subtle changes may take place, as folks get nervous about their online privacy. For example, there are many recent articles suggesting that people use VPN’s to surf , as well as suggesting that folks stay away from non-SSL sites as much as possible. In our opinion, it follows that web browsers will become more “vocal” about steering people away from non-https sites. Maybe its time to consider SSL for your website?
